Protsahan

Mumbai Protsahan classes are running at Lion's Club Balwadi, Suman Nagar Kurla. We teach 40 kids who are resident of the same slum .

• Life Skill Sessions: To instil life skills such as self-esteem, decision making, goal-setting, effective communication and character building skills, ensuring that they become an integral part of each child's life and personality.
• Health-care and Hygiene sessions: To promote the idea of responsibility for one's health by addressing a comprehensive range of health concerns including nutrition, exercise and fitness, disease prevention, alcohol & drug use prevention, tobacco use prevention, growth and development, social and emotional health, dental, consumer & environmental health, safety, conflict resolution and violence prevention.
• English Sessions: To enable each and every kid understand and speak well in English using teaching aids, interactive lectures, role plays, speaking and writing exercises.
• Aptitude and Mental Maths Sessions: To make them solve tricky and conceptual mathematical problems that will enhance their problem solving approach, calculations and critical thinking.
• Creative classes: To improve their self-esteem, motivation, imagination and achievement. Aids: Drawing, craft-making, dancing and singing sessions.

Sahayata

We at ~Pankhudi conducted a Collection Drive for the Bihar Flood Relief Fund. The collection drive was conducted from 27th September 2008 - 4th October 2008. At the end of this drive we sent all the collected material across, to the ones who need it the most.

Other Activities
Activities organized to uplift the overall personality of kids such as NCPA Pomegranate Workshop, Republic Day Cultural Event, Udaan Workshop, Museum visit, dance & painting workshop, tree plantation, etc.
